New BMW G310 RR Teased in India
BMW G310RR Special Edition Coming, Only 310 Units for India
Premium motorcycle manufacturer BMW Motorrad has confirmed a limited edition of its most affordable supersport bike, the new BMW G310 RR, for the Indian market. The company recently dropped a teaser on social media, clearly showing that it will release only 310 units of the motorcycle.
Production Might End Soon
This announcement triggered speculation among motorcycle enthusiasts that this could be the final batch of the G310RR BMW in India. In fact, BMW is already developing the next-generation 450cc twin-cylinder sports bike, which should debut at the 2025 EICMA show and reach India by early 2026.
Features and Updates
The new limited-edition variant will carry several modern upgrades. Moreover, BMW may bring in many of the features that TVS recently introduced in the Apache RR310. The highlights include a stronger 38 bhp engine, a bigger airbox, a bi-directional quickshifter, and cruise control. On top of that, BMW is also likely to add launch control, a feature already seen on the Apache.
Design and Styling Changes
BMW will make sure the special edition stands apart from the standard model. The teaser shows a bold black, red, and blue paint scheme. On the fuel tank, each bike will carry a metal plate with an engraved number, underlining its exclusivity. BMW might also tweak the aerodynamics and introduce new alloy wheels to sharpen the look.
Engine and Performance
The bike will continue to use the 312cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, but BMW could tune it for extra punch. The current BMW G310RR delivers 33 hp and 27 Nm of torque. In comparison, the Apache RR310 produces 37 hp and 29 Nm. That difference suggests the G310RR BMW limited edition may come with a slight performance bump.
BMW G310RR Price and Availability
The current BMW G310RR price in India stands at ₹3.05 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Since this is a limited-edition model, BMW will likely charge a few thousand rupees extra. The company plans to launch it before the festive season to maximize excitement.
Why It Matters
BMW already discontinued the G310R and G310GS in India, making the new BMW G310 RR the brand’s most affordable motorcycle in the country. This upcoming special edition will attract collectors who value exclusivity and also loyal BMW fans who want a unique motorcycle with limited production numbers.
